Experience the sites and history of Canberra on one of the regular daily cruises during September to April. (bookings required). Enjoy an eco-tour where you will experience the tranquility of a nature based cruise along the Molonglo River, Jerrabomberra Creek and the canals of the Wetlands or the bird nesting sites of Black Mountain Peninsula. (minimum numbers are required). The Cygnet and Darter are also available for charter on special occasions centred on Lake Burley Griffin. Lake burley griffin cruises provides an intimate environment for a wide range of functions from weddings to private dinners for small groups, luncheons or morning and afternoon teas.

Lake cruisesTake a one hour cruise around the most popular areas of the lake based on Lake Burley Griffin Cruises' years of research and experience. They will maximise your opportunities to get up close to the Captain Cook Memorial Jet and cruise pass Aspen Island to hear the bells of the Carillon. The skipper's involvement can be as passive or as active as you like, with entertainingly presented commentary or answers to any questions you may have. This is the only service that operates at least two cruises 7 days a week. While there is generally space on board the Cygnet or the Darter it is best to book, but not essential. | |
