Megalong Australian Heritage Centre

Discover the lifestyle of the Australian Jackaroo. See the stockmen ride a horse, muster the cattle, work with the sheep and cattle and crack a stockwhip!

The Megalong Australian Heritage Centre is part of a unique Pioneering Homestead set in the heart of the magnificent Blue Mountains. It reflects the lifestyles of the pioneers from the past through to today, together with shows and demonstrations for pre booked groups.

The Farm Tour includes visiting the old pioneers bush farm and the rustic Outback Woolshed 'Country Pub', a Wildlife Walk with a chance of seeing native flora and fauna and farming animals, try boomerang throwing and whip cracking, view the pioneer barn museum and homestead.

Traditional Lunch and Stockman's Drovers Campsite includes a traditional Aussie barbecue lunch with rural displays and entertainment with Billy Tea and Damper around the camp fire.
