Gardens Of Stone National Park

The Gardens of Stone National park conserves almost 12000 hectares of varied
terrain from limestone outcrops to sandstone escarpments. The pagoda rock
formations are a prominent feature. They occur near sandstone escarpment
edges where erosion has sculptured bee hive domes and curious arrays of
other shapes.

The park has no facilities apart from a few fire trails which provide short
walking opportunities and picnic areas without facilities. Experienced
walkers have plenty of scope for off track exploration. The nearest car
based camping areas are at Newnes and Glen Davis.

Capertee Valley, The northern boundary is adjacent to the Capertee Glen Davis
Road.

Ben Bullen, This section of the park is accessible via 4WD trail that extends
from the Mudgee Road at Ben Bullen to the Wolgan Road, it provides access to
Baal Bone Gap.
