Araluen Old Courthouse Bed and Breakfast
Araluen Old Courthouse Bed and Breakfast was built in 1861 circa in the gold rush era. The Courthouse has original courtroom, police room, prisoner exercise yard and two goal cells all now guest facilities. Two of the goal cells are now bedrooms and they can accommodate families in the original quarters of the resident policemen. Each of the guest rooms has a private sitting room and en suite.
Spa under the stars, cool off in the pool after that game of tennis, relax in the garden or in front of an open fire in the old courtroom. All this with views of the beautiful mountains surrounding the valley.
A cooked breakfast is included in their daily tariff, and it is served in the original courtroom or on the verandah overlooking the garden. Arrangements can be made for dinner at the courthouse.
