Choose your accommodation from either of two villas, each stylishly appointed, with a different distinctive emphasis.
The Stables Villa encourages company and fun around a billiard table and juke box. You will probably elect to have your meals at the banquet table on the lawn, protected by shady Oak trees and next to an English fountain.
The historic Coachhouse Villa, whilst ideal for groups of four or six. has also been designed for solitude and intimacy, with luxury en-suite bathrooms and sitting room bedrooms. You can pretend you are in Tuscany sitting in your sunny courtyard and private garden.
So that your privacy need never be interrupted you can enjoy creating your favourite dishes in the Villas fully equipped kitchens. Alternatively, you can relax and be served one of our delicious dinners by candlelight.
Stroll, picnic or just stop amongst Mona’s award winning gardens. When activity beckons a tennis court and croquet lawn are at your disposal. The golfers in your group will tee off at the nearby picturesque tree-lined fairways. Instead, you might discover the Heritage charm of the historic Braidwood Village, with its great cafes and antique shops. A late check-out will ensure that the tranquil atmosphere of Mona will not be hurried.

The Coachhouse VillaThe Coachouse was built in 1903 and renovated and refurbished in 2005. There are three spacious king bedrooms. Two rooms have a direct ensuite with shower and bath. The third room opens onto a private sitting area and has its own entrance. The bathroom is on the other side of this private sitting room. The former central breezeway has been divided into the private sitting room for the third bedroom, and a large dining/lounge area complete with slow combustion wood fire. There is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen which opens onto a tuscan style coutryard. There is underfloor heating in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The Stables VillaThe Stables Villa is on two levels. Upstairs there are four bedrooms. Two bedrooms have king beds and direct ensuites. There is a third bedroom with a king bed and a king sinlge. The bathroom is just across the hallway. The fourth bedroom has three king single beds with bathroom across the hallway. There is a central lounge/"party" room complete with billiard table, juke box and slow combustion fire. There is also a separate dining area. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen with fuel/electric stove. On the other side of the entrance hall is a luxury double shower, double spa bathroom. The downstairs area flows onto an outside area "the Fountain Lawn" where meals can be taken during the warmer months. | |
