Burrawang General Store Cafe
The Burrawang General Store Café, circa 1867, underwent restoration over the past five years to rejuvinate what is one of the icons of the district into a place that will last a further lifetime. Today you can dine amongst the history for breakfast and lunch from Thursday to Sunday from 8.30 a.m. Intimate functions are a speciality in this piece of Highlands history.
The Cafe has been fully restored after being operated as a General Store for more than 130 years of continuous operation since 1867. Trading ceased in 1999 and the renovation began in 2002. The extensive refurbishment touched every aspect of the building to ensure that the Store can work tirelessly for the next 130 years.
A cellar has been included along with a mezzanine floor for those cold Burrawang winters and hot coffees.
