Marist Brothers Wines

Marist Brothers Wines have come a long way since the first planting of Pinot Noir in 1999 to the release of their first vintage port for the Centenary of the Hermitage. Visitors to the Hermitage are now greeted by rows of meticulously tended grapevines – drawing many parallels to the French origins of the Marist Brothers.

The first vineyard that you will discover once you leave the M5 motorway from Sydney is "The Hermitage Vineyard", the home of Marist Brothers’ Wines. All the grapes used in the production of these wines are grown entirely on the Brothers’ property. Planted over an area of 13 hectares, The Hermitage Vineyard supports a range of cool climate grapes including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Merlot, Riesling, Pinot Gris and a desert Merlot.

The Cellar Door is open each weekend or you can organise an appointment with their Vigneron to taste their wines.
