Goulburn Historic Waterworks

The grounds of the Goulburn Historic Waterworks will be open each day during the school holidays. Bring a picnic and sit by the tranquil Wollondilly River.

Activities for kids include a playground area with heaps of space to run around in, or for the keen angler, bring your rod and see what you can catch. Get your dose of culture by viewing the sculptures featured in the inaugural art exhibition 'Wandering the Wollondilly'.

View the gigantic 1883 beam engine, still operational, which once supplied Goulburn with its water supply. The engine will be “steaming” on Saturday 3 October from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

Guided tours available and the Pumphouse Café will be open for supper.
