23, 787ha of wild angular sandstone country. Hidden valleys hold rainforests,
heaths fill with wildflowers in spring. There is a difficult walking track
to the base of Mount Budawang.
A rugged wilderness area, including the Budawang Range and the eastern
escarpment of the Southern Tablelands. Tall open forest throughout, with a
number of rare species and unusual heath and rainforest communities.
No horses, dogs, cats or four wheel drive vehicles allowed.
