Wee Jasper Reserves
Wee Jasper Reserves are a popular holiday, recreation and touring destination, with beautiful camping areas beside rushing rivers and cascading streams, idyllic picnic spots and pristine bush.
Located in New South Wales, near the village of Wee Jasper at the North Western foot of the Brindabella Ranges, close to Burrinjuck Dam in the heart of Capital Country. The Reserves are only an hour or so from either Tumut, Yass or Canberra.
The Wee Jasper Valley offers all sorts of outdoor and underground activities. The Reserves and surrounding areas are a haven for native animals and birds. The night sky is simply amazing. You really can't get much closer to nature!
There are 5 camping reserves offering a variety of facilities:
Billy Grace Reserve: Great for families. Has hot showers.
Swinging Bridge: Beautiful scenery set on the river amongst traditional fishing huts.
Micalong Creek Reserve: Rushing mountain stream. At the foot of a steep valley.
Fitzpatrick Trackhead: Stopover on the Hume & Hovell Walking Track. Close to wild caves.

Toilets, water, barbecues and picnic tables are available at most of the reserves, but no power. Pets are welcome. Be as active or as lazy as you like. Plenty of great bushwalks, go fishing or just sit back and relax. Close to State Forests for mountain bikes and horses. Special events in Winter and Summer.
