If you have ever wondered what it would be like to live in a lighthouse, you now have the opportunity.
You can stay in the restored Head Lighthouse Keepers' Quarters (circa 1903). The Quarters are heritage listed and sleep up to eight people. It boasts three spacious bedrooms, lounge room with a gas log fire, and television, DVD, full kitchen and dining room. Stage one of restorations have maintained the original layout and feel of the cottage - it even has an outside toilet.
A second cottage has recently been renovated and is available for overnight stays. Experience your piece of history with magnificent views overlooking the lighthouse and ocean creating an unforgettable holiday of a lifetime.
Norah Head Lighthouse is a spectacular icon of the Central Coast built in 1903. The Lighthouse remains a fully functional navigational aid and now you can experience the life of a Lighthouse Keeper!

Norah Head Lighthouse - Quarters No 1This is a three bedroom cottage, Queen Bed, plus single trundle in two bedrooms and queen bed with double inner spring sofa bed in third bedroom. Quarters sleep eight persons. Features include fully self-contained kitchen, lounge, Victorian style bathroom with combination claw-foot bathtub and shower, indoor toilet plus second toilet outside, covered patio and gas barbecue. This cottage has recently been completely refurbished and is extremely comfortable. Located on the Norah Head Lighthouse reserve the views are spectacular and your privacy is ensured. When you stay at the cottage a free tour of the lighthouse is included. You need supply all of your own linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mat, and tea towels). Norah Head Lighthouse - Quarters No 3 QuartersEach veranda surrounding the cottage has wonderful ocean views. An outdoor setting is also provided. The bathroom features a bath and shower. All crockery and cutlery is provided in the fully-equipped kitchen with microwave. There are heaters in each bedroom with a gas log fire in the lounge and an internal laundry with an additional bar fridge. There is a CD stereo, television, DVD and video in lounge. You are required to bring your own linen or linen may be hired at an additional charge. Two night minimum stay, three night minimum over long weekends, special weekly rates are available. | |
