Cedar Park Lavender

Located almost half way between Sydney & Newcastle, Cedar Park Lavender has been described as a "Provence In the Yarramalong Valley" by a visitor from the village of Tourrettes sur Loup near Cannes in France. The farm has been established with an initial planting of 5000 intermediate variety lavender plants and companion plantings of rosemary and more than 100 fragrant roses. Hydroponic lettuce and herb production and a small herd of beef cattle complete the picturesque location. Cedar Park Lavender has installed a 120 litre capacity distillation unit for the production of lavender essential oil from the summer harvest.

Enjoy a guided tour of the farm. Witness the distillation of lavender oil or simply relax and smell the roses, take in the beautiful garden on the property where you will see a living fossil, a Wollemi pine. Take the opportunity to purchase lavender products or plants and fresh produce.

Visitors always welcome. Farm tours available for coaches, clubs and groups. The expected duration of a tour visit is about one hour.

Visitors are welcome to stay and enjoy the ambience of Yarramalong.
