Horse Riding at Glenworth Valley gives you the option of free-range or guided rides along 50 kilometres of unspoilt wilderness trails consisting of lush green valleys and rainforest areas. With over 200 quality horses, Glenworth Valley caters to riders of all abilities and ages and conducts Horse Riding Lessons and Adventure camps throughout the School holidays. Lead Ponies are available and are ideal for children’s birthday parties.
Horse Riding Lessons and School Holiday Riding Camps are the ideal way to learn about the joys of horse riding. Our students develop confidence, balance and co-ordination in a controlled environment whilst having loads of fun, where we have the flexibility to offer lessons and camps in a riding arena, out on a trail or with a combination of both.
Lessons are provided in accordance with a training plan which includes grooming, saddling, and ground control, walking, trotting and cantering in harmony with the horse. As riders advance, they progress to lateral movement, rounding and collecting, and jumping.
Participants receive individual attention and also have a variety of activities and classes designed especially for children.
Quad Biking is a new and exhilarating way to explore the Australian Bush and Glenworth Valley offers guided tours on your very own four wheel motorbike (ATV). Enjoy a fully-guided Quad Bike Ride through bushland, open paddocks, rainforest and mountain trails with full training provided on the day.
Abseiling is great fun and surprisingly easy, no experience is necessary and absolutely anyone can do it! With breathtaking views over the Valley, their experienced staff offer a series of easily progressive stages in developing confidence and technique as you advance.
Kayak through spectacular natural environments on some of the best waterways in Australia on the Hawkesbury River, Central Coast or along Popran Creek as its meanders its way through the middle of Glenworth Valley.
Glenworth Valley caters to family groups and has 150 acres of river front camping, barbecue and picnic areas to choose from, where you can relax after a fun day.

Free Range Horse Riding and Guided RidingRide through a magnificent landscape of Glenworth Valley, swim in natural rock pools, see rainforest, native birds and animals on over 50 kilometres of trails. Guided Riding is suitable for riders of all abilities. With guided horse rides, instruction on control and management of your horse is given before leaving the yard. A professional and friendly guide accompanies you on your ride. You are shown the features of the area while riding and once you feel proficient and confident with your horse you may be able to leave the group and explore the valley by yourself. Free Range Horse Riding is available for experienced riders who feel confident with their horse and who wish to explore the valley at their own pace. All riders are given instruction on control and management of the horse before leaving the yards to ride wherever they like without a guide. Package DealsThey offer a variety of packages, allowing you to combine any of the activities offered at Glenworth Valley. Combine horse riding with either quad biking, kayaking or abseiling. You can either do one activity in the morning and one in the afternoon, or do one activity on consecutive days. Riding LessonsHorse riding lessons are the ideal way to learn confidence, balance and co-ordination in a controlled environment.
