Robert Stein Wines
Stein's Wines and the Robert Stein Vineyard can trace its family history to the earliest days of Australia's pioneers. The Stein family was brought from Erbach Germany in 1873 by the Macarthur's of
Camden to make wine, and celebrated 150 years in Australia in 1988.
Steins Vineyard was established in 1976 & the winery built in 1981 with two
subsequent extensions. About 18 acres are now established. A well equipped
laboratory enables testing of wines at all stages from vine to bottling.
The Robert Stein Vineyard and Steins Wines are family owned and operated. They are located in one of Mudgee's premier grape growing regions. They boasts a large range of wines that are estate grown, vinified, matured and bottled. Robert Stein Vineyard wines have won many awards.
The grounds offer free gas barbecue facilities and panoramic valley views.
