Orange Regional Cooking School
The Orange Regional Cooking School is housed in a former general store, combining the gleam of a professional kitchen with the conviviality of gathering around the kitchen table. Classes promote produce driven, modern cooking for today's busy lifestyle.
Recipes are given out, dishes are shared and regional produce takes centre stage.
The cooking school is operated by Lesley Russell, a professional cook of twenty years standing. Lesley learned her trade in Melbourne and her career ha s included restaurants and hotels, cafes and guesthouses, as well as catering and teaching both in Victoria and New South Wales. Her approach to food is fresh and simple with the emphasis on quality ingredients and robust flavours.

Cooking ClassesLesley's classes promote produce driven cooking reflects the region, people and seasons. The Cooking School is an integral part of the food and wine community of Orange with regional chefs, restaurateurs, producers and winemakers featuring regularly on the class program. All classes are demonstration style and run for two and half hours. Prices include generous tastings of all dishes prepared and full recipes. Complimentary tasting of local wines is in included in each class. | |
