An idyllic setting on the banks of the river, the Birds Bay oyster farm cafe offers a new and different way to enjoy freshly cooked crabs and farm fresh oysters with other seafood delights.
The new attraction includes Birds Bay waterfront cafe and fresh seafood outlet, Oyster Farming Displays, gift shop with local jewellery, souvenirs, gourmet goodies and natural body products.

Birds Bay Oyster FarmSet on the banks of Terranora Lakes, adjacent to the oyster leases, Birds Bay Oyster Farm is the departure point for the multi award-winning Catch-a-Crab cruises. Located at the Oyster Farm is the Birds Bay waterfront cafe and gift shop specialising in fresh crab and oyster dishes. Visitors can pick up freshly shucked oysters to accompany a luncheon feast of famous Queensland mud crabs. Entry is free and the cafe offers a selection of seafood lunch menus, dine in or take away. Bookings are essential. Catch-A-CrabSet on the banks of Terranora Lakes, Birds Bay Oyster Farm is the departure point for the multi award-winning Catch-a-Crab cruises, cruising on the Tweed River with activities of pelican feeding, yabby pumping, fishing, trapping for mud crabs and crab show (all equipment supplied). The Oyster Farm is part of the seafood experience, pickup up freshly shucked oysters to accompany a luncheon feast of famous Queensland mud crabs. A selection of itineraries and lunch menus are available, ranging from two to four hours duration. All equipment for activities, fishing rods and bait supplied. Morning tea included.
