Moorebank is a privately owned boutique family vineyard where outstanding wines come from outstanding grapes. Moorebank's values are with sustainable viticulture and agricultural practices to produce wines that are global responsible and kinder to our bodies.
The purely estate grown wines produce a true Hunter identity that benefit beautifully from having less synthetic chemical intervention. Not unlike the ecclesiastical directors Ian Burgess and Debra Moore, whose personal values of quality, health and environmental consciousness reflect heavily through their vineyard estate.
The unique character, humour and knowledge of owner, vigneron and Cellar Master Ian Burgess make for a delightful wine tasting experience for your memory. He and his children, Leon and Summar will guide you through a “passion of the Senses” looking at a range of wines, comparing the differences that bottle maturation reveals.
Along with tastings of the famous Spicy Grape Sauce and a range of organically grown, wine inspired handmade spreads like the Grape and Moorebank Semillon Spread, Oinion and Moorebank Merlot condiment, Orange and Moorebank Chardonnay Spread, Lemon, Chilli and Moorebank Semillon Dipper and Spice Pickled Grapes. You can also taste fresh Handmade Lemonade while you view the Kangaroos or feed the pet sheep 'Sheila' while on this picturesque Vineyard Estate, on Palmers Lane, Pokolbin, in the Hunter Valley.
