Robyn Drayton Wines
In 1853, William Joseph Drayton farewelled his home country of England and arrived in Australia, content to grow grapes at the foot of the Brokenback Range. Robyn Drayton is a fifth generation, and only female vigneron and winemaker in the family. Robyn continues a proud tradition of 155 years of Drayton winemaking in the Hunter Valley.
A trip to the estate will showcase Robyn’s award-winning range of spectacular crisp whites, full bodied reds, and her famous White Port, best served over ice with a wedge of fresh lime.
Since 1992 the winery has been awarded 24 trophies; 39 gold, 46 silver and 86 bronze medals for wines produced with their own 100% Hunter grapes and were recently awarded “Best Semillon of the Year” (twice!), with Wine State Magazine, an outstanding result given the strong competition from more than 10,000 entries across Australia and New Zealand.
Relax on the wide covered verandah while enjoying uninterrupted views of the majestic Brokenback Mountain Range. Browse through the family history museum or pick up a present from our gift gallery.
If gourmet goodies are your style, indulge your taste buds with our delightful Devonshire teas or locally produced oils, vinegars, tapenades and dukkahs.
Come share our piece of paradise!
