Previously known as Lesnik Winery, Wilderness Estate Wines have a five generation tradition in winemaking, beginning in Austria, now in Australia.
Specialising in quality handmade table wines - Semillon, chardonnay, merlot, Shiraz, Verdelho, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, brut champagne and small lots of port and liqueur Muscat, pinot noir and merlot.
The winning combination of old Hunter and European techniques and new methods will always be Wilderness Estate's formula for success.
Outside barbecue and picnic areas are available for visitors' enjoyment.
Wilderness Estate's Winery produces multi-medal and multi-trophy winning wines (over 200 as of 1996).
