Dalwood House and surrounds of Wyndham Estate
In the same year that George Wyndham planted the first commercial shiraz vines he had Dalwood House built to his own design. That was 1830. Today Dalwood House, a sensitive and romantic cottage with a Greek porch, is set amongst the vines. Lovingly restored, you can view the exterior of this creative cottage at your leisure or call in advance to book a tour of the inside. And if you needed any further excuse, the Wyndham Estate cellar door is just around the corner, where you can sample the fruits of George Wyndham's labours.
