A unique piece of Australian history connected with the nearby Avondale College and Sanitarium Health Food Factory in Cooranbong, 'Sunnyside' built in 1895, was the home of Ellen White, pioneer of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The historic home contains some original furnishings and a collection of fascinating memorabilia from the life and ministry of this amazing woman.

Located beside the cottage, the South Sea Island Museum houses an extensive and unique collection of artefacts and handicrafts from the South Pacific has been recognised by renowned curators as having the best Southsea Island Private permanent collection in the world.
