Lake Liddell Recreation Area
There are all kinds of wildlife at Lake Liddell Recreation Area. You can enjoy watching the sea eagles feed off the lake, or witness, in breeding season, the swans hatching their cygnets. Lake Liddell has all kinds of water activities, including canoeing, sailing, fishing and swimming. Lake Liddell also has a boat ramp and water sports.
Lake Liddell is situated in the centre of the mines and is central to the vineyards. It has provisions for camping and caravans (must bring your own). There is a small fee per night for either a tent or caravan and a small fee for a power extension.
Facilities include a kiosk, plenty of barbecues and hot showers that need a 20 cent coin to operate, all situated in a bushland setting.
