Come and learn to surf with a local surfer, Miles Niddrie, who has surfed the Newcastle area for over 25 years and has already introduced plenty of beginners to the wonderful lifestyle of surfing.
A full-time professional Level 2 Surf Coach, he offers smaller group lessons with mobile locations to provide more personal surfing instruction.
Surfing is a great lifestyle, fun and fitness at the same time. The waves are always different and it's great to get out there and enjoy them with friends or family. Becoming a surfer takes time and practice, so getting some help will speed up the learning curve and provide a solid platform to build on.

Organised Surf Bus GroupsRedhead Mobile Surf School can offer a 21 seat bus for larger groups who want to experience the area with guided tours of wonderful beaches. Beginner and advanced instruction is available. Coaches are experienced with years of surfing knowledge to pass on to you. Equipment supplied or you can bring your own. Prices on enquiry. Surfing LessonsSurfing takes a while to master and you will always be learning new things from your surfs - just working out when and where to go surfing takes experience. Travelling to find the right waves is part of the fun of surfing but if you learn from an experienced surfer you will know where to go. Lessons run all year round including winter and wetsuits are provided for your comfort. Times and locations vary around the tides and surf conditions on the day. Redhead Mobile Surf School can supply surfing equipment or you can bring your own. Group lessons 1.5 – 2 hours. Up to six per group and two groups maximum. Three day courses are available - great for school holidays. Free pick up/drop off available depending on bookings on the day. | |
