Illawarra Light Railway Museum

The whole family will love cheering and waving from the steam train as it travels past the station and navigates its way through the quite bushland setting in Albion Park. The museum also has tram and miniature train rides that let the children experience a piece of history that was enjoyed at fairgrounds by parents and grandparents alike.

The grounds of the museum are a great place to escape, the kids can play in the playground while the adults relax in the barbecue area.

Steaming days when the Museum is in full operation including demonstrations, working engines and rides are held on the 2nd Sunday of each month, Sundays of Public Holiday weekends and the 4th Sunday of January.

Entry to the museum and grounds is free - Donations are most welcome.
Tickets for train rides can be purchased from the main platform station.
