Killalea State Recreation Area
Killelea State Recreation Park is a spectacular tract of coastal land that has been dedicated as a Public Recreation reserve.
Killalea has two favourite spots for surfboard riders (known locally as 'Mystics' or 'The Farm'). In June 2009 it was named a National Surfing Reserve preserving it for the future.
The waters are also excellent for other activities such as scuba diving, snorkelling and fishing.
An ideal place for family picnics and barbecues (electric barbecues and amenities are available).
