Illawarra Performing Arts Centre
The Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (IPAC) is the region's premier performing arts complex, conveniently located in the central business district; shows include touring professionals, community and in house productions.
The Merrigong for Schools program is huge, with twice as many shows as last year. Some special shows for primary school audiences are scheduled, and post-show Q&A sessions have been added for most shows, greatly enhancing the overall experience. Merrigong Theatre Co is committed to the development of local professional theatre practice in the Illawarra region.
Merrigong Theatre Co based at The Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (IPAC) is Wollongong's home of the performing arts hosting everything from school and community based events.
