Peter Shoobert has lived by the ocean all his life. He was a keen surfer winning many competitions, astute spearfisherman and diver. Peter has been diving for over 30 years. In 1997 Peter won the Wollongong University Sports and Recreation Tender to Teach their Scuba Diving.

Open Water CourseBefore you can do a course you must have a medical to say you are fit to dive, you can download a medical form to take to the doctors from their website. You need two passport size photos, one is for your student record file (Asia Pacific File) and one is for your PADI Certification (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). The most internationally recognized certification in the world - PADI. Course includes free accommodation (valued at over AUD200.00), you must bring your own sheets, pillow case, blankets or sleeping bag to go over the bed, free transport, via mini bus (valued at over AUD100.00), use of all dive equipment: regulators, BCD, wetsuit, hood, boots, weight belt, redundant air supply spare air, cylinders, mask, snorkel and open heel fins. | |
