Capella Lodge- Currently closed for renovations (until September 2009) offers a new way of enjoying the World Heritage beauty of Lord Howe Island. They call it the first luxury lodge in the world's last paradise and hope that once you have experienced the new Capella Lodge for yourself you will agree.
Located above picturesque Lover's Bay, Capella is a nine suite boutique property on the southern tip of Lord Howe. Spacious suites feature chic beach house interiors, some with mezzanine lofts and spectacular sea and reef-break views and others with expanded outdoor decks nestled amongst the endemic Kentia Palms. Capella is the only island accommodation offering incredible lagoon views.
Luxurious facilities in the main lodge include the Capella Restaurant, Makambo Bar and intimate Kentia Lounge all with compelling mountain and ocean vistas. The outdoor relaxation area Gower’s Terrace also includes a heated horizon pool.
