L P Dutton Trout Hatchery
Located just 75 kilometres east of Armidale on the Waterfall Way, the Trout Hatchery is situated on the beautiful Serpentine River, right next door to the New England National Park.
Visitors can view the spectacular audio-visual show in the visitor centre theatre. Hand feed the trout or see the aquarium display with trout, brilliant blue crayfish, eels and endangered freshwater species. Visitors can take a nature stroll along the Serpentine River with the chance to feed 'wild' trout or just relax beside the cascading cool waters.
Self guided tours are available for individuals. A guide can be arranged for group tours.
