Quirindi Rural Heritage Village

The Quirindi Rural Heritage Village showcases the development of rural Australia and the rich farming district of the Liverpool Plains in particular.

Peruse its 2000 plus exhibits; from aboriginal artefacts through to the explorer’s early settlers, it demonstrates the trials and tribulations faced by the pioneers of this vast country. Household items (particularly kitchenalia and lacework) and craft of bygone eras, tools, cameras, restored buggies, tractors, steam engines, stationery motors, threshing machines and lawnmowers are all on display. Museum extension now completed as well as additional machinery shed.

Visit the machinery sheds and the blacksmith’s shop or perhaps take a ride on the 650 metre miniature railway.

There is also an excellent coffee shop. Annual machinery enthusiasts rally and swap meet is held on the first weekend in May.

School/social groups are welcome. Disabled toilet facilities are available.
