Armidale Heritage Drive
The Armidale heritage drive takes in the C.B. Newling Centre. This Centre was built of the finest materials and workmanship during the Great Depression as a teachers college. The imposing building has always been surrounded by formal gardens, which you are free to walk around. The Centre is now a campus of the University of New England and you are free to poke your head into the entrance hall - during it's teacher's college days students were never allowed to use the grand stairs. The Centre also contains a theatre space and if you are lucky there will be a performance during your stay.
