Gunnedah Rural Museum

The Gunnedah Rural Museum is a collection of rural machinery and implements highlighting the early days of agriculture in Australia, in particular, the Liverpool Plains area.

The collection also includes the largest privately owned firearms collection in Australia. Working demonstrations of petrol engines and shearing equipment can be arranged for organised coach tours.

See a working metal foundry, rare and restored machinery, steam engines, shearing gear and more. It houses the largest gun display and the biggest vintage tractor collection in Australia.
