Lake Copeton Eastern Foreshores

A short drive west of Tingha is the eastern foreshore of Lake Copeton and the old village area of Howell. A recreation and camping area.

Approaching from this side of the lake, the traveller is rewarded with a panoramic view of the whole lake that cannot be seen from any other area.

Boating, fishing and skiing are the main activities with fish quite plentiful (redfin and catfish being the main species and occasionally yellow belly and silver perch).

Bush Camping is available free of charge.
