Lake Keepit State Park
Lake Keepit is two thirds the size of Sydney Harbour, and only 30kilometres from Gunnedah. The lake offers some of the best fishing in the North West, with fabulous catches of Golden and Silver Perch, Murray Cod and Catfish. Fly fishing for Carp is rapidly becoming a major attraction for sport fishermen keen to test their skill against these aggressive and muscular fish.
Activities include sailing, water skiing, gliding, abseiling, walking trails, swimming, fishing, tennis, camping and barbecue facilities.
