Bass Lodge
Bass Lodge was built in 1986 out of the rounded rocks of the river and carefully crafted logs. The lounge room with its cathedral ceilings and polished timber floors are complimented by the stained glass windows and filtered light offering a perfect setting for relaxation. The beautiful internal wooden staircase takes you to the upstairs bedrooms located on a suspended floor which overlooks the lounge room.
Sleeping up to 18 people Bass Lodge is a unique and unforgettable location for corporate groups to hold off- site meetings away from the normal pace of city living. Professionally operated catch and release fishing tours can be organised or you might like to climb aboard a helicopter to view some of the most remote areas in the region. Those seeking the quieter life will find tranquillity in the abundance of walking trails, canoeing and the magnificent array of local bird life and rarely seen native animals including the platypus and echidna.
