Superb riverside camping and farm-style accommodation fronting the pristine Manning River. Enjoy the seclusion & picturesque location of this unique 350 acre, working beef cattle farm in the upper Manning Valley.
The camping area has grassy unpowered sites with fireplaces and three large shelters.
The accommodation comprises a rustic cabin known as "The Chapel" (maximum of four guests) and a bunkhouse suitable for a large group (maximum 26 guests), each of which have a slow combustion fire, fridge/freezer and dining tables. Guests in the accommodation have exclusive use of a fully equipped kitchen and gas barbecue.
The amenities used by all guests have hot showers and flush toilets.
Easy accesses for swimming in the river are adjacent to the camping area - bring your canoe or kayak or fishing rod.
A great location for caravan or camper trailer groups to meet up. A spit roast for groups is available for hire, when pre-booked.
Only four hours drive north of Sydney, one hour from Taree and Gloucester. Ideal for a weekend getaway or somewhere to stay during school holidays. Great for families, school, social, sport, church and recreational groups.
Dogs are welcome to camp - notification required when booking (conditions apply). Bookings required.

Cabin - "The Chapel""The Chapel" is a 2-level one bedroom rustic cabin which accommodates a maximum of four guests. One Queen Bed and two single beds are in the upstairs bedroom. Downstairs is the lounge/dining area with dining table, fridge with freezer, a pot belly stove, CD player, a selection of reading material and board games. Chapel guests have the use of the adjacent fully equipped kitchen, a gas barbecue and full use of the camping area. Firewood is provided in the cooler months. Linen, pillows or blankets are not provided. The amenities are adjacent to The Chapel. A minimum of 2 nights is required at all times. CampingThe riverside camping area has unpowered level sites (non-designated) with existing fireplaces. There are many easy river accesses to enjoy swimming, kayaking/canoeing or fishing. On the adjacent upper-river flat are 3 large shelters which have tables, bench seats & fireplaces. Firewood, ice, soft drinks and small bottles of water are available for sale. The amenities have hot (gas) showers and flush toilets. Dogs under supervision are welcome to camp - they must be on leads or run at all times & kept within the camping ground - notification is required when booking (conditions apply). The Bunkhouse"The Bunkhouse" is a rustic structure which accommodates 26 people. Comprising three family rooms and one dormitory-style bunk room, it is great for extended family or social groups. Full-size fridge with freezer, kettle, toaster and slow combustion fire. Includes the use of a separate fully equipped kitchen and gas barbecue. The amenities are only a short stroll from The Bunkhouse. Firewood is provided for the slow combustion fire. Linen, pillows or blankets are not provided. Only one group booking is taken for each stay - it is not shared by guests who book separately. A 2 night minimum stay with a minimum of 3 families or 6 adults is required at all times. | |
