Cedar Grove Farmstay
Set on a 600 acre cattle breeding property, adjoining the Wilson River, surrounded by mountain scapes and lush pastures. Both units are self-contained and have spectacular views. Enjoy a refreshing break while experiencing life on a working farm with the added bonus of a clean river to swim and fish. There is also a games room and children's outdoor play area.
Farm activities (observation or participation) vary with the seasons, providing enjoyable learning experiences for all. Local attractions include: bushwalking, cycling, swimming, fishing; 4 wheel drives enjoying remarkable and varied vistas and experiences; visit an old disused tin mine, or take scenic drives to beautiful picnic and swimming spots. Experience magnificent night skies; abundant birdlife and native flora/fauna and 'spotlighting' for night creatures. Horse riding in the area can be arranged.
Continental breakfast plus a dozen fresh,farm eggs (in season) are provided on your first day plus a complimentary bottle of wine for dinner. Both units are self-contained however reasonably priced delicious meals are available with prior notice or be tempted by Di's farm made 'delectables' for morning/afternoon teas on the verandah, overlooking the valley (Impressive!). Di's jams and chutneys are also
available.
