Hat Head National Park
Hat Head National Park is located on 7396 hectares and is 24kms north east of Kempsey. Hat Head has one of the best vantage points on the coast to view the migrating whales.
Hat Head is a rich coastal environment with one of the largest dune systems in NSW. There are superb views from Hat Hill and nearby Smoky Cape. The Korogoro Peninsula Walk reveals coastal rainforest, a sea cave and arch.
Camping is permitted at Smoky Beach and Hungry Head rest areas.
