Hungry Head Beach
Regarded as one of the best kept secrets on the North Coast, Hungry Head Beach is a patrolled beach
(during the surfing season) and attracts surfers and families alike. The local surf club provides modern
facilities with a kiosk, change rooms, toilets and an inspection tower allows local lifeguards to keep a close
eye on the little ones.
A clean sandy creek just south of the surf club and main beach provides a fun haven of those preferring a
less active environment. A beautiful water picnic area is available with barbeques and amenities and is also
home to the friendly local kangaroo population. A spot that offers something for everyone, including cheap
cabin accommodation.
