Tomaree National Park
The National Park covers most of the coastline between base of Tomaree Headland and Fishermans Bay, which is an area of 2347ha.
No camping permitted.
Features: Scenic rugged coastline; Samurai Beach - official Unclad Beach, north end One Mile Beach; wealth of bird life, native fauna and colourful wildflowers.
Visitor facilities in surrounding areas include picnic and BBQ areas, wood, water, electric and toilets are available.
Tomaree National Park houses one of the areas most popular bushwalks &
lookouts: Tomaree Headland at Shoal Bay.
A book is available from the visitors centre "Bushwalks around Port Stephens"
at a cost of $4.40 and has detailed descriptions & maps of the majority of
walks around Port Stephens.
