Dairy Flat is situated in the upper reaches of the Richmond River underneath Mount Lindesay and close to the World Heritage listed Border Ranges National Park.
Enjoy a true family weekend away from the hustle and bustle. Dairy Flat offers you an authentic Australian rural dairy farm experience with plenty of activities for the entire family. Enjoy the farmyard, calf feeding, cow milking, bush walking and bird watching.
After a full day, relax on the homestead veranda, put your feet up with a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the mountains.
All accommodation has full kitchen facilities and either wood stove or pot belly stove for the cold winter nights. Dairy Flat has deliberately not installed television, radio or telephones in the cottages. All you need to bring is your food and linen.
Self-contained accommodation ranges from a one bedroom cottage to the five bedroom homestead.

One Bedroom HouseSleeps two and is a perfect getaway for a couple beside the creek. French doors open from your bedroom and lounge to views of Mount Lindsay. Wood burner in the lounge, sit and watch the flames on on cold winters nights or enjoy the veranda in summer. Three Bedroom HomesteadSleeping up to eight, this house overlooks paddocks where the cattle graze beside the creek. It has a pot belly stove in the large kitchen and cool verandas to take in the view. Two Bedroom CottageSleeps up to six and is ideal for the young family. The cows wander past your window up on the way to be milked. Just a stroll for the children to the horse yard, calf pen and dairy. | |
