Anchorage Holiday Park
The Anchorage Holiday Park is located on the outskirts of Iluka village and nestles against the southern perimeter of Bundjalung National Park. The park has a river frontage that provides easy access and spectacular views westward across the wide expanse of the Clarence River.
Iluka is a sleepy coastal fishing village at the mouth of the Clarence River and is a haven for Australian fauna. Kangaroos and emus are a common sight as are many species of birds. Dolphins make their home in Iluka and are often viewed at play, either in the river or surfing the waves at the beach.
Safe and comfortable fishing boats can be hired at very reasonable rates in Iluka, which also offers launching facilities for anyone bringing their own craft.
For those not interested in fishing, Iluka offers long stretches of unspoilt beaches and perhaps Australia's most accessible rainforest.

Camp SiteUnpowered Camp Sites Sites accommodate one family sized tent and one car including boat or trailer. Maximum persons per site - family of six or maximum of four adults. Some sites have shade, power and/or views of the river. Extensive camp kitchen, laundry and amenities are available to all campers. Deluxe CabinThe Deluxe Cabins are spacious two bedroom cabins situated centrally in the park. The master bedroom contains a queen size bed and the second bedroom hosts two double bunks with inner spring mattresses. The cabins accommodate up to six people with a maximum of four adults. Sheets, pillows and cases, blankets and towels are supplied for all beds. The bathroom has a shower (or bath), toilet, vanity and hairdryer. The lounge contains couch, television and DVD player for entertainment. The kitchen/dining is fully equipped with cookware, cutlery and crockery and has a dining table/chairs. The cabins are non-smoking with reverse-cycle air-conditioning and feature a covered deck with outdoor furniture. There is also one Deluxe Cabin that is "Pet Friendly" - conditions apply. Queen CabinQueen Cabins are fully self-contained and accommodate up to five people, with a maximum of four adults. The master bedroom is separated from the living area and contains a queen sized bed with full bedding, linen, pillows and towels supplied. There is a walk-thru bunkroom with three bunks. Bedding is not supplied but may be hired. The bathroom has shower, toilet and vanity. The self-contained kitchen has a microwave, fridge/freezer, cook top, electric frypan, kettle, toaster and dining table/chairs, cookware, cutlery and crockery. The living area hosts a couch, television, DVD, air-conditioning, ceiling fan and oil heater and leads through to a covered deck with outside furniture. All cabins are non-smoking. Serviced SitePowered Sites: Standard and Riverview. Most sites are grassed with concrete annexe pads and all have access to power, water and sullage. Riverview Sites overlook parkland towards the beautiful Clarence River. Some sites can accommodate large vans or motorhomes - by prior arrangement. Spa CabinThe luxury cabins feature two decors, Country Cottage and Mediterranean, the latter with a view to the magnificent Clarence River. The master bedroom contains a queen size bed and the second bedroom hosts two single beds and a hinged bunk. The cabins accommodate five people with a maximum of four adults. Linen, blankets and towels are supplied for all beds. The bathroom has a corner spa, complimentary toiletries and hairdryer. The kitchen/dining has an extensively equipped kitchen and a dining table. The living area is cosy with couches, television, DVD and CD player to ensure your stay is enjoyable. All cabins are non-smoking with air-conditioning and ceiling fans. A covered decking with outdoor furniture and private garden at each cabin ensures a pleasant outlook. Veranda CabinThese cabins are fully self-contained and accommodate up to five people, with a maximum of four adults. The master bed is a queen bed with full bedding, linen, pillows and towels supplied. The bunkroom is accessed through a sliding door from the living room. Bedding is not supplied but may be hired. The kitchen/dining is in the centre of the cabin and contains a bar fridge; microwave; element stove top, toaster and dining table/chairs, cookware, cutlery and crockery. The cabin has a television, heater, fan, wardrobes. The bathroom contains a shower, toilet and vanity. A covered porch with outdoor furniture completes this cabin. All cabins are non-smoking. | |
