Sine Cera Rainforest Retreat
Sine Cera is 200 acres of sub-tropical rainforest in the heart of the Border Ranges in Northern New South Wales. With accommodation for over 80 people, it is easily accessible from the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Lismore, Kyogle, Casino, Beaudesert and Brisbane.
Sine Cera adjoins World Heritage Border Ranges National Park with its pristine forests, waterfall gorges, crystal creeks and one of the richest collections of plants and animals in all Australia.
Sine Cera has its own clear stream as Gradys Creek which borders one side of the property and is fed by perennial springs. There is a waterhole for wading or swimming all year round and plenty of space to explore and rock hop along the creek. The recreation opportunities are endless with bushwalking, swimming, bird watching or outdoor games in the open paddock.
Sine Cera’s own lush tropical rainforest is instantly accessible where Wallabies, Pademelons, Rosellas, Bell birds and orchids, to name a few, are frequently seen.
The moods of the mountain are a delight to see and the natural night sky, free from light pollution, sparkles with the splendours of the stars of the universe.
The Latin words Sine Cera mean openness. Openness is what Sine Cera is all about. It offers an open-hearted, open-minded retreat located in the heart of the rainforest.
