Grafton Heritage Trail

Grafton is a beautiful city of tree-lined streets, graceful buildings with their Victorian and Edwardian architecture on the banks of the mighty Clarence River.

Historically, Grafton was the early centre of development in the Clarence Valley being gazetted as a municipality in 1859 and then was declared a city in 1885.

Many of Grafton's buildings are classified by the National Trust including the notorious Grafton Gaol and the Gothic styled Christ Church Cathedral.

The heritage trail is best if taken in a car. See over 20 historical sites whilst enjoying the quiet atmosphere of the town.

You can contact Clarence River Visitor Information Centre for your copy of the trail, or download it from our website.
