Grafton Regional Art Gallery
Set in the restored 1880’s Prentice House, this Gallery is the Clarence Valley’s premier visual arts centre.
The Gallery's collection focuses on the acquisitions from the Biennial Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award (JADA). The JADA fosters Australian contemporary drawing practice, and as a result, the collection holds many fine examples of Australian drawings. It also includes the historical O'Grady watercolour collection of Australian flora and fauna. The collection includes works by regional artists, and artists from the local area and the Jacaranda Art Society gift (1967 - 1988). Other strengths include ceramics and prints.
Exhibitions are held here regularly as well.
Unique quality gifts at the gift shop and dine at Georgie’s Café/Restaurant - an excellent place to meet for great coffee and fine regional food.
