Seven Mile Beach

The sweep of Seven Mile Beach is rimmed with sand dunes and a variety of coastal sand forests, some of which are listed as endangered ecological communities.
You can stroll for hours along the vast expanse of Seven Mile Beach and lose yourself in its natural splendour - and for the angler, the beach fishing is as legendary as is the surf!

4WD access from the northern end to the Shire Boundary. Dogs are also allowed north of the Lake Ainsworth Reserve, with effective control.

Dominated by coastal heath containing sturdy fire resistant flora like the banksias and wild flowers, such as the Christmas bell, which burst into colourful display during summer, late winter and spring. Forests of scribbly gum and paperbarks and large stands of grass trees also dominate the area. These plants attract large numbers of nectar eating insects, birds and mammals.
