    2 Hour Morning Tea Rainforest Cruise

    Rainforest Cruise - Cruise along the scenic Tweed River whilst enjoying an informative commentary on the local area from the Captain. Enjoy morning tea as you cruise through lush agricultural fields and sub tropical rainforest. Watch in awe as we feed the local birds of prey including kytes and sea eagles. You will disembark at the historical township of Tumbulgum and our mini bus will transfer you back to Tweed Heads.

    Crab Catching Cruise

    Activities include trapping for mud crabs, Crab Show, Fishing, Pelican Feeding and Yabby pumping. Dine on freshly caught and cooked mud crab accompanied by a buffet of salad, rice, soup and afternoon tea. All fishing equipment supplied and transfers from accommodation available.

    River and Rainforest Cruise

    Tweed Endeavour Cruises offer a relaxing “River and Rainforest Cruise” aboard the Golden Swan. Departing from Tweed Heads, this cruise meanders down the pristine Tweed River through lush agricultural fields and low lying sub tropical rainforest. Our informative and extremely knowledgeable captain provides a full commentary taking you all the way back to 1823 when John Oxley first cruised down this river. Admire the ecological gem called Stotts Island where we stop and feed the local birds of prey including sea eagles, whistling and brahminy kytes. It is incredible to see these birds at such a close range. Be amazed at the beauty of the islands dense rainforest with over 400 acres of untouched rainforest and 225 different flora and fauna species. The historic township of Tumbulgum is our stopover point. This small village boasts the second oldest pub in NSW made of red cedar and filled with photo memorabilia of the first settlers to this region. Tumbulgum Art Gallery is another point of interest not to be missed as it displays the brilliance and creativity of local artists. I guarantee you won't leave empty handed! As you re-embark, a banquet lunch will be presented to you. Consisting of a mouth-watering ‘Surf and Turf' or ‘Seafood' menu, this is accompanied by fresh salads, bread and tropical fruits. I pledge this is more than enough to satisfy even our most famished guests! After lunch sit back, relax and watch the world go by and keep your eye out for a dolphin or two.
