The Full Moon

Leave on a 2 - 3.5-hour discovery tour just before sunset, to await the colourful changes in the sky, while witnessing wading birds feeding and the river's mirror-like reflection. As the sun goes down and the moon rises, you'll paddle through calm, protected waters to view and hear wildlife that hides during daylight. It is absolutely unforgettable! This tour runs September to May only. Departure times and tour length are dependent on the tide.

The Main Arm

A 2 - 3.5-hour journey through the heartland of Byron Shire, you will paddle through waters that weave their way through spectacular native forest and farmland, looking out for soaring sea eagles and leaping fish while the majesty of Mount Chincogan looks over you. Along the way, you'll sneak into small inlets, surrounded with lush vegetation and overhanging branches that will make you feel like you're in the Amazon. Departure times and tour length are dependent on the tide.

The South Arm

On this 2 - 3.5-hour tour, escape to a sanctuary that meanders through isolated Nature Reserve, listen to the crashing waves of the coastline nearby and spot kingfishers dive bombing their way through Tea Tree-stained waters and stingrays spreading out on the sandy bottom. You may even see a wallaby peering at you from the surrounding forest, while the sounds of singing birds provide you with a feeling of relaxation and mental refreshment. Departure times and tour length are dependent on the tide.
