Clarence Riverboats are 11.5 metres (36 feet) all aluminium houseboats licensed by New South Wales Waterways to sleep eight people on the Clarence River between the river mouth at Yamba/Iluka to well past Grafton with nearly 350 kilometres of waterways to use and 100 islands to visit.

HouseboatsDiesel powered and fully equipped riverboat. Clarence Riverboats are 11.5 metres (36 feet) all aluminium houseboats licensed by NSW Waterways to sleep eight people with two double beds and four single bunks. Each bunk has a reading lamp and generous windows all round give excellent viewing of the beautiful Clarence River. All bed linen, pillows, and doonas, blankets, bath and hand towels are supplied. The almost full length upper deck has a second steering position, with chairs, small table and canopy. The main deck has walk around sides with fore and rear deck areas so there is plenty of room to relax outdoors or fish in comfort. The galley has plenty of bench and cupboard space and is equipped with a four burner gas stove with griller and separate oven, two door 8.2 cubic feet gas refrigerator and freezer and an instant gas hot water system (which also services the bathroom) The bathroom has a normal house hold type flush toilet, full sized shower recess and a vanity unit. An automatic pump supplies fresh water to all outlets. The riverboats are insulated and the interior is fitted with a good quality, cut-pile washable carpet. A television and a radio/CD/cassette are provided as well as crockery, cutlery, glassware, kitchen utensils and tea towels. This is the perfect way to explore the Clarence River and the Towns and Village on the Banks of the Glorious River system. | |
