PJs Underground Bed and Breakfast
PJ's Underground B&B has been handcrafted from the old opal mines of Turley's Hill to give you the most unique stay underground you can imagine. With pristine white walls and local stone floors PJ's Underground B&B will offer you an experience to remember forever.
60 million years ago Dugout 72 had sea views - now they can see 50 kilometres from their front door through their native garden. Their six guest rooms have been dug from the sea bed, some as opal mines over 120 years ago. The old timers lived in their mines in the constant underground temperature, and today White Cliffians do the same - in their hot summers and brisk sunny winters the temperature inside is no lower than 18 and no higher than 25 degrees.
At the end of the day you can join us on a tour of the old mine - included in your tariff.
